The Mori Lee trunk show in Sydney

We got a sneak peek at the beautiful new designs for Mori Lee's Spring 2011 collection at the Mori Lee trunk show in Quay West over the weekend.

The new collection has a stylish sense of flair which reflects the growing trend in bridesmaids' dresses and ladies formal wear this year, so it really shows that Mori Lee has been paying attention.

Their recent blog post, "Always a Bridesmaid, Never a Cocktail Dress?" explains that while many consider the wedding day as a bride's time to shine, a bride also wants her bridesmaids, who are often her best friends, to look and feel great too.

This is something that we've also noticed at Jovita's Bridal over the years, because although the wedding day does centre around the bride and groom, a wedding is also an occasion that's celebrated by the entire family and their closest friends.  Everybody wants to look great at a formal event, and Mori Lee's new collection really reflects a great understanding of what weddings are all about, and the needs of our customers who they're designing these gowns for. 

So if we could sum up the Spring 2011 collection in 2 words, 'modern chic' would be the best way to describe Madeline Gardner's new designs.
